Your name, zip code, city, country, telephone number, e-mail address and booking information, for which trip or event you wish to attend. Booking information will be stored securely in our booking system Checkfront. E-mail correspondence between you and us will be stored for up to two years on a secure server provided by our chosen provider.

Google, Facebook, Tripadvisor and Instagram

Femund Canoe Camp AS uses Google, Facebook, Tripadvisor and Instagram to inform the public about our business. Any and all communication between you and us will be stored within these solutions and deleted after five years. Ratings by you, given in these channels, may be published on our website.

How do we collect information about you?

We will receive information directly from you when you are looking for offers and information on a trip or event. All information is given voluntarily by you either via e-mail, forms on our website or phone.

Cookies

Cookies are used by this website for functional, statistical and marketing purposes. Cookies may also be used by other websites (such as YouTube) that run content on the website's pages (third-party cookies).

This website uses Squarespace Analytics, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to collect information about users. This information is retrieved from the computer's browser and may include your IP address, operating system, browser, screen resolution, and previous website. We also use cookies to work with targeted marketing (such as ads, social media posts).

Why do we collect information about you?

We use your information to complete the services you have requested, and to provide you with the best possible service. We also use customer administration, billing and accounting information.

Our accountant

If you have purchased a service from us (eg tour, event), some of your data (name, e-mail, address) will be stored by an accountant who has a duty to store data and records for up to ten years. Personal data that is not subject to storage will be deleted within 1 year.

Our booking system

When booking a trip with us, the booking will be registered in our booking system Checkfront and the payment will be registered in Stripe.

You are entitled to access, rectification and deletion

You have the right to access the personal information we have about you, and the right to demand that we correct or delete personal information about you. We will only store the data necessary to fulfil the purpose for which we obtained the information. Data that is stored for legal reasons (e.g. accounting) cannot be deleted.
